    What You Will Be Doing

    We’re seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Team Lead to support the F\-35 Joint Technical Data \(JTD\) program in Fort Worth, TX\. In this high\-impact role, you will lead the business operations function for a cutting\-edge defense program, overseeing earned value management, risk oversight, and cost/schedule integration\. This role requires a proactive leader who thrives in a fast\-paced environment, communicates effectively across technical and business functions, and is driven to deliver results\. You’ll serve as the key point of coordination between internal teams, senior leadership, and the customer—helping to ensure mission success through sound business management and execution\.

    Key Responsibilities

    \- Lead a high\-performing business operations team and delegate work aligned to priorities across cost, schedule, and change management initiatives\.

     

    \- Partner with capture teams to support proposal development, including JTD\-specific inputs and business case shaping\.

     

    \- Collaborate with Technical Leads and Product Line Managers to close process gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives\.

     

    \- Oversee proposal activity in APTS \(Automated Proposal Tracking System\), develop Basis of Estimates \(BOEs\), and support contract negotiations\.

     

    \- Present staffing forecasts and strategic recommendations to senior leadership\.

     

    \- Engage directly with customers to manage contract data deliverables, lead Integrated Business Reviews \(IBRs\), and support root cause analysis and EVM reporting\.

     

    \- Develop and maintain business process documentation and contribute to enterprise\-wide process improvements\.
