    Title Training and Quality Control Manager

     

    Program: City Beet Kitchens (CBK)

     

    Salary: $45,500 annually

    Overall Responsibilities

    The Training and Quality Control Manager will perform a variety of critical tasks to support the Director of Operations, City Beet Kitchens. This individual must possess exceptional organizational and time management skills. Must have the ability to effectively communicate with internal leadership, culinary team and customer management. It is imperative that this individual keep the Director of Operations fully apprised of activities and progress made.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    The essential duties include but are not limited to the following activities:

    + Regular site visits to all CBK locations to ensure quality control measures through thorough examination of food quality, equipment maintenance, staffing & Human Resource related issues.

    + Manage operations by way of detailed reports on budget/ordering, waste & temperature logs.

    + Provide and update regular status reports for each site; Conduct frequent quality control surveys to include staff/client relations regarding food service.

    + Address and follow up with complaints/concerns in a positive and solution driven manner with corrective action.

    + Provide detailed training for new and existing employees as needed; Assist with hiring & scheduling staff

    + Covering shifts and vacations as needed.

    + Maintain CBK staff scheduling and kitchen/site assignments; Coordination and collection of the weekly status reports

    + Present flexible and responsive initiatives on efficiencies related to training and quality control

    + Keep all kitchens at "A" grade level according to NYC Health Department standards

    + Assist with CBK menu distribution and inventory management; Coordinate equipment repairs as needed

    Qualifications:

    + 3-5 years minimum experience working as in kitchens

    + High level of proficiency in business writing and customer relations

    + Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to edit documents and independently compose correspondence

    + Proficiency in current software applications (Microsoft Office)
