Job Summary
Insight Globals client is seeking a Solutions Architect to join their Information Technology team. This individual will work closely with business stakeholders and IT leadership to understand operational processes, identify current challenges, and develop strategic technology solutions. The Solutions Architect will play a key role in shaping a connected ecosystem by aligning business needs with architectural standards and future-state technology roadmaps. This role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and the ability to operate within a dynamic aircraft manufacturing and service environment.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand current operations and identify opportunities for technology-driven improvements
Lead the evaluation, design, and implementation of solution architectures across business applications and technologies
Monitor and assess emerging technology trends and their relevance to evolving business models
Identify deficiencies in the current solution portfolio and work with IT to develop 35 year strategies and roadmaps
Communicate operational needs, challenges, and architectural recommendations to technical teams, executives, and vendors
Generate technical requirements and align solution architecture with enterprise standards
Collaborate with other architects to define principles, guidelines, and patterns that support the enterprises future-state vision
Ensure application processes, including those of external providers, comply with corporate architecture standards, policies, and regulations

Skills and Requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent technical experience
Proven experience in a Solutions Architect role leading large, complex programs
10+ years of experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines (e.g., infrastructure architecture, application development, middleware, cloud development)
Strong understanding of strategic and emerging technologies and their application to business and operating models
Familiarity with product management, agile methodologies, and supporting agile teams
Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps
Broad understanding of manufacturing systems and processes such as MES, PLM, ERP, WMS, F&O, and Retail
Demonstrated Skills & Abilities
Strong business acumen and leadership skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
Ability to craft data-driven recommendations and translate technical concepts into business terms
Executive presence and influence across technical and non-technical audiences
Familiarity with process management techniques and continuous improvement strategies
Strategic mindset with the ability to manage complexity and balance stakeholder needs Experience with process management and continuous improvement
Use of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies null
