    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced and strategicWorkday Senior Implementation Consultantto lead the successful deployment ofWorkday HCM and Financials. This role will serve as both ahands-on consultantand ateam lead, working closely with internal stakeholders and external implementation partners. The ideal candidate will not only guide the implementation process but also help design and transition into a sustainable long-term support model. You will serve as the internal lead for Workday HCM and Finance implementation efforts working alongside the IP. Partnering with external Workday implementation consultants to ensure alignment with business goals and timelines is a must. You will be leading internal project teams, manage deliverables, and ensure milestones are met. The expectation is you will provide subject matter expertise across Workday modules, with a focus on configuration and business processes with a focus on Workday Financials. Mentoring and guiding internal team members across functional and technical tracks. Acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and implementation partners is critical. Post-Go-Live Support Planning is a must. Expect to develop and document long-term support models, including governance, change management, and release management processes. Identify and help build internal capabilities for ongoing Workday support. This position is remote but you must live in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana,Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia, or Virginia to be eligible. The hourly rate is $50-$60 based on experience.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Business, HR, Finance, or related field.

     

    5+ years of experience withWorkday implementations, including at least one full-cycle deployment.

     

    Deep understanding of Workday HCM and/or Financials modules.

     

    Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing vendor relationships.

     

    Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

     

    Ability to translate business requirements into system solutions. Workday Pro Certification in HCM, Financials, or Project Management.

     

    Experience with Workday security, reporting, and integrations.

     

    Familiarity with post-implementation support models and Workday release management. null
