    Job Description

    Day to Day:

    - Lead and manage a team of 18 people.

     

    - Instruct on Instruments to purchase

     

    - Team will be responsible for

     

    - Performing various tests, lab processing, staining, preparation of slides, special histological stains

     

    - Track supplies and expenses, provide documents and correspondence for reports

     

    - Maintain equipment and prepare for lab use

     

    - Dispose chemicals

     

    - Prepare, clean and maintain instruments

     

    - Be able to command the ship and keep everyone on track throughout the evening

     

    - Able to answer questions from more junior techs

    Skills and Requirements

    Must Haves:

    - Need to have Bachelors degree

     

    - 5+ years experience as a manager

     

    - Previous experience in molecular laboratories

    - ASCP (HTL) certification Plusses:

    - Experience cutting kidneys, eyes, doing immunofluorescence, IHC, muscle. null
