Job Summary

Insight Globals client is seeking a Solutions Architect ERP to join their Information Technology team. This individual will provide leadership, analysis, and design expertise to support the development of technology solutions that align with business needs and architectural standards. The role requires adaptability to evolving requirements and competing priorities within a dynamic aircraft manufacturing and service environment. The Solutions Architect will play a key role in optimizing the value, cost, and risk of enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

Understand business drivers and capabilities (current and future state) to determine solution designs and change requirements

Lead evaluation, design, and analysis for implementing solutions architecture across business applications or technologies

Monitor emerging technology trends and assess their practical application to evolving business models

Identify deficiencies in the current-state solution portfolio due to aging technologies or misalignment with business needs

Generate technical requirements and communicate solution architecture to technical, managerial, executive, and vendor audiences

Collaborate with other architects to define principles, standards, and patterns that align with the enterprises future-state architecture

Ensure application processes, including those of external providers, comply with corporate architecture standards, policies, and regulations

Skills and Requirements

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and technical experience

10+ years of experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines (e.g., infrastructure architecture, application development, middleware, cloud development)

Experience with ERP implementation

Strong understanding of strategic and emerging technologies and their application to business models

Familiarity with product management, agile methodologies, and supporting agile teams

Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps

Demonstrated Skills & Abilities

Strong business acumen and communication skills to engage with senior leadership

Ability to translate technical data into actionable business insights

Executive presence and ability to influence key stakeholders

Proficiency in defining and improving business processes

Strategic mindset with the ability to manage complexity and balance stakeholder needs Nice to Have

Background in manufacturing environments

Experience with process management and continuous improvement

Use of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies null
