Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Penfield, New York. This role requires a versatile individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and can handle multiple responsibilities, ranging from financial reporting to overseeing key accounting processes. Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end close procedures, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all accounting tasks.

• Manage invoicing processes and ensure payroll postings are handled efficiently.

• Supervise billing operations, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR) functions.

• Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Handle project and cost accounting, maintaining precise records and supporting budgetary goals.

• Reconcile accounts and maintain the general ledger to ensure accurate financial information.

• Review and post journal entries to ensure proper accounting practices are followed.

• Collaborate with auditors during financial statement audits, providing necessary documentation and support.

Requirements • Proven experience in accounting, including month-end close and general ledger management.

• Strong understanding of financial statement audits and account reconciliation processes.

• Proficiency in handling journal entries and project accounting.

• Ability to manage invoicing, billing, AP, and AR processes.

• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in financial reporting.

• Familiarity with cost accounting and budgetary tracking.

• Effective communication skills for collaborating with teams and external auditors.
