    Description

    We're partnering with a growing international manufacturing operation in Spartanburg seeking a hands-on Plant Controller to support plant-level financials and drive process improvements. If you bring SAP expertise, inventory and costing experience, and a passion for operational finance, this is a chance to make a big impact and position yourself for long-term growth.

     

    • What You'll Do:

    + Lead plant-level financial reporting and monthly close processes

    + Analyze balance sheet accounts and perform GL/sub-ledger reconciliations

    + Serve as the SAP finance lead, coordinating with the global IT team to support process improvements and resolve system issues

    + Manage inventory costing and raw material tracking; support physical inventory counts

    + Partner with Shared Services (India) for AP, AR, bank recs, and MIS reporting

    + Coordinate treasury activities including wires, borrowing base reporting, and factoring

    + Support internal controls, accounting policy development, and external audit

    Requirements

    • What We’re Looking For:

    + BS/BA in Accounting or Finance required (Master’s or MBA preferred)

    + 5+ years in manufacturing accounting roles (Accounting Manager, Sr. Accountant, or Assistant Controller)

    + Strong SAP and advanced Excel skills

    + Solid knowledge of general ledger, costing, and financial reporting

    + Organized, analytical, and able to communicate effectively across departments
