    Job Title: OneSAF Software Engineer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a motivated individual to provide expert-level software engineering services across various technologies, including Development, Testing, Modernization, and Managed Services. This role as a Software Engineer IV involves designing, developing, coding, testing, debugging, and supporting applications, while maintaining high standards of software safety and systems safety.

    Responsibilities

    + Design, develop, code, test, debug, and support applications.

    + Create unit test plans and cases, develop unit tests, and conduct code and unit test walkthroughs.

    + Collaborate with users to define system scope and objectives.

    + Provide analytical support and technical advice during conceptualization, development, and implementation phases.

    + Maintain applications with bug fixes, performance enhancements, and runtime production support.

    + Generate technical documentation for developed applications.

    + Review and evaluate systems and software for compliance with directives, standards, guidelines, and criteria.

    + Engineer software solutions based on client requirements.

    + Support an Application Architect as needed.

    + Utilize commercially available or custom CASE tools.

    + Develop technical documentation detailing project design parameters.

    + Work within a small team in an Agile environment to achieve team milestones and project strategic goals.

    + Participate in brainstorming and consensus-building activities to improve products and processes.

    + Create use cases and perform object-oriented analysis and design.

    + Implement software capabilities and bug fixes.

    + Develop unit tests related to software implementation.

    + Create flowcharts and documentation to identify software requirements and propose solutions.

    + Adhere to strict CMMI quality procedures for first-time quality in delivered products.

    + Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to the software development process.

    + Participate in peer reviews of source code.

    Essential Skills & Qualifications

    + Current or ability to obtain Defense Industry Secret Clearance is REQUIRED

    + 5 years of experience in software development and support with OneSAF.

    + Experience with Agile development methodologies.

    + Proficiency in JavaScript, Typescript, and/or Java.

    + Experience with SVN or Git for configuration management.

    + Experience developing unit tests with frameworks such as JUnit.

    + Proficiency using IDEs like Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA.

    + Experience using source code repositories such as BitBucket, GIT, or Subversion.

    + Experience using defect management systems like JIRA.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products like PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.

    + Experience with service-oriented architectures.

    + Experience with distributed systems.

    + Proficiency in writing PowerShell, Bash, and/or Python scripts.

    + Experience developing and maintaining C++ applications.

    + Experience using Relational Database Management Systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, and/or Oracle.

    + Experience with JLCCTC or similar constructive Modeling and Simulation software.

    + Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related scientific or technical fields.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $57.00/hr.
