    Description

    Multi-craft maintenance tech who will be working on their equipment. Client is an automotive supplier- so equipment consists of injection mold machines, CNC machines, furnace, cylinders, and robotics. Will need to have working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical wiring, and heat transfer diagrams . Will need to have a mix of mechanical and electrical experience. Also, need to have experience troubleshooting PLCs. The controls they use are GE.

     

    The injection mold machines are water flow systems to heat and cool. Vacuum system. If candidates have experience with this it is a plug.

    Fanuc robot machine is a spinning robot to weld products

    CNC Machine is a 3 axis

    Will also be working on chillers, AC units, dock doors, and overhead crane. But very small portion of the job.

    Electrical- 480-120 voltage

    Current Openings:

    3rd Shift - 11 pm - 7 am. Monday - Friday

     

    Daily responsibilities: Support manufacturing and production to keep production up and going to hit daily / weekly goals – keep equipment running.

    - Electrical installations – hydraulics / pneumatics

    - 60% preventative maintenance / 40% break downs – will eventually have 2 crews

    - Breakdowns aren’t too difficult with the plant only 2 – 3 years’ old, breakdowns are simple and a lot are because of human errors

    - Kaizen projects: hang board in appropriate place, or go make this “widget”

    - 5s manufacturing and lean principles

    Qualifications:

    High School Diploma or GED

    Minimum of five years of Machine Repair experience preferred.

    Advanced in Pneumatics and Hydraulics

    Advanced understanding of relevant Robotic controls.

    Ability to drive KTMR support

    - Safety minded: lock out / tag out

    - Facility needs, for example, picking up grounds and performing repairs on the building like repairing air handlers, air compressors, and HVAC

    - Troubleshoot and repair: electrical panels, 3 phase/ 120V, installations, all under 480v

    - Electrical testing

    - (Almost a must have) – experience with robotics (they have Fanuc)

    - General mechanical aptitude: gear boxes, pumps, motors

    - Using voltmeters to troubleshoot – with and without power

    - Interpret line drawings - looking into PLC from lap top and understanding what is installed and what is loaded
