We are looking for:
The O&G Solutions Laboratory Intern will contribute to participate in O&G research & innovation development projects for oilfield chemical applications. Support O&G Solutions R&I and technical team to execute technology development projects. This position is located at O&G Solutions R&I Center in the Woodlands, TX.
We count on you for:
+ Participate in and conduct laboratory experiments for analysis and Quality Control for developing new technologies
+ Sample preparation and participate in synthesis work under supervision
+ Maintain well written and organized lab reports for testing methods and related project work
+ Provide technical support on existing products
+ Follow established safety protocols and maintain lab hygiene

You will bring:
+ An associate or bachelor’s degree, or current enrollment in a postgraduate program in Engineering or Chemistry, with 1–2 years of experience in a mechanical, laboratory, or related discipline.
+ Previous experience assisting with research or laboratory work is a plus.
+ Background in synthesis, quality control, or prior internship experience is also advantageous.
+ Motivated, positive, with a can-do attitude.
+ Excellent verbal/written communication, data management, and reporting skills.
+ Teamwork attitude and ensuring safety and compliance is a must

+ Competitive salary and benefits package
+ The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is ($22.00 to $24.00 per hour). Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
+ 16, or more, weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulations.
