    This position is responsible for leading the implementations and enhancements of backend software applications, providing overall technical and business function knowledge to projects and delivery, incorporating agile processes.

     

    This position is considered flexible remote. Travel to the office required once per quarter or more as needed. Residence required within our 6-state footprint (MI, WI, IL, IN, OH or KY) for remote position.

    What You'll be Doing:

    + **Technical Vision & Roadmap:**

    + Work with Architecture, Engineers and stakeholders to prioritize and maintain a technical roadmap, ensuring that Hybris evolves to meet the company's strategic goals.

    + **Cross-Functional Collaboration:**

    + Collaborate with architecture to translate requirements into technical specifications and user stories.

    + Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring all parties are aligned on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.

    + **Backlog Management:**

    + Develop and maintain a well-structured product backlog, ensuring clarity and priority for both technical and business requirements.

    + Regularly groom the backlog, adjusting priorities based on technology needs and business considerations.

    + **Requirements Definition & Documentation:**

    + Write clear, concise user stories and acceptance criteria that are understandable by both technical and business audiences.

    + Ensure proper documentation of feature requests, system requirements, and workflows to ensure alignment across teams.

    + **Project Leadership & Delivery:**

    + Drive the execution of product features, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery in collaboration with engineering teams.

    + Participate in scaled agile ceremonies and ensure the development process is efficient and transparent.

    + Track product development progress, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and manage expectations throughout the delivery lifecycle.

    + **Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement:**

    + Identify and address any issues or roadblocks that arise during development or in the use of the Hybris, proposing and implementing solutions as necessary.

    + Continuously monitor and assess the performance of the Hybris and suggest enhancements to improve efficiency, scalability, and usability.

    What You Bring with You (Qualifications):

    + Bachelor’s or 5 years' experience as a Technical Product Owner, Engineer or Architect

    + Any SAFe certification (SSM, SASM, SA, SPC, SPMPO).

    + Experience working with back end e-commerce systems, or related domains

    + Experience with multiple different Architecture styles such as Event-Driven, Micro-service, etc.

    + Experience delivering complex projects in the past, working closely with technical teams, engineering mindset

    + Excellent communication and problem solving skills

    + Experience leading project teams in a cross-functional environment. Experience on Agile teams is preferred.

    + Knowledge of project management techniques is required (cross-functional experience is highly desirable).

    + Expertise with implementation and configuration of vendor packages/business systems.

    + Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well on cross-functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks.

    Technology Skills:

    + Java (Spring, Spring Boot, SQL, Kubernetes) Experience or Relevant Experience.

    + Experience with GraphQL

    + Experience with Kafka and/or Microservices

    + Proven experience working in Java or Related Programming Language.

    + Basic understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.

    + Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (Azure Cosmos DB).

    + Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.

    The pay range for this position is listed below.

     

    $100,000.00 - $156,000.00

     

    This pay range represents the minimum and maximum base pay for the position, which is determined by factors such as market data, the qualifications required, the level of responsibilities associated with the role and other roles at this same level. Your specific pay rate within this range will be based on your experience, qualifications, and skills compared to the internal team you’ll be joining.
