    Responsibilities

    CHI Saint Joseph Medical Group is seeking an Oncologist to join an established group in growing their comprehensive oncology program across the state of Kentucky, specifically in our London, Mount Sterling, and Corbin locations. The Oncologist provides high quality, comprehensive, accessible and cost effective general oncology patient care. We offer the latest in cancer-care technology, including indication-specific use of the latest FDA approved drugs, state-of-the-art linear accelerator based radiation therapy and strong partnerships with other providers such as surgeons who use da Vinci® Xi surgical system for less pain and faster recovery.

    Position Overview:

    + Hematology-Oncology; Oncology board required, Hematology board NOT required.

    + APP support in clinic; APP sees benign hematology patients.

    + Walk into existing patient panel with little to no competition in the area and a large referral base!

    + Monday-Friday schedule, no weekends. 4 administrative hours per week.

    + Very light phone-only call for ED only. Call shared among all CHI Oncology providers in Kentucky. 3rd party Oncology group takes front line call.

    + Work at a volume that is comfortable for you. Very much a work/life balance position with the ability to be very busy if you desire.

    + Be part of building a program with a strong existing foundation and a brand new cancer center!

    Offer Includes:

    + Competitive salary guarantee for up to 3 years and a lucrative production model after guarantee period.

    + Additional quality-based bonus

    + Up to $200,000 in recruiting incentives including sign-on bonus, student loan assistance, residency bonus, and relocation assistance

    + 1 week CME, $4,000

    Qualifications

    **Education** :

    + Successful completion of an accredited Oncology Residency Program

    + Open to new graduates

    License/Certification:

    + Kentucky License/Eligible

    + DEA

    + Board certified in Oncology; Hematology board NOT required

     

    Overview

    Essential Duties:

    + Understand, support, and implement the mission of the facility to deliver health care to those in need in the performance of all job responsibilities

    + Ensure that patient care meets or exceeds the facility quality standards

    + Ensure that patient satisfaction meets or exceeds standards set by the facility

    + Educate patients on both clinical and managed care

    + Participate in clinic and network task forces as requested and appropriate

    + Function as an effective clinic team member

    + Meet productivity standards

    + Effectively use clinic financial and other performance information
