We are seeking a skilled Senior Transactional Attorney to join our team, supporting our legal needs as we continue to expand. This role will work closely with our executive leadership team and make a direct impact on our business.

Position Overview:

The Senior Transactional Attorney will primarily focus on drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a wide variety of commercial contracts, including supplier agreements, vendor contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and other related transactional documents. The ideal candidate will have experience in an in-house legal environment, particularly in the manufacturing or technology space, and bring a deep understanding of supplier relationships and industry-specific legal issues. This position requires strong communication and collaboration skills, as the attorney will work directly with the executive team and internal stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Contract Negotiation and Drafting: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including supplier, vendor, and licensing contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

+ Collaborate with the Executive Team: Work closely with the company's leadership team to provide legal support and guidance on business transactions and strategy.

+ Vendor and Supplier Management: Provide legal oversight and support for supplier agreements, ensuring that contracts align with the company’s business needs and mitigate risks.

+ Risk Management and Compliance: Identify potential risks in contracts and guide the company on compliance with laws and regulations applicable to the manufacturing industry.

+ Legal Guidance: Serve as a trusted legal advisor to internal teams, clarifying complex legal issues and creating practical, business-forward solutions.

+ Dispute Resolution: Assist with legal disputes related to contracts, working with external counsel as needed.

+ Document Management: Develop, maintain, and update templates, workflows, and contract negotiation playbooks to improve efficiency.

+ Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance and training for staff on contract-related legal issues, compliance, and best practices.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in [state of location].

+ Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of legal experience, with at least 3 years of focus on transactional work. In-house experience with a technology, manufacturing, or supplier-related business is strongly preferred.

+ Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with supplier agreements, manufacturing-specific legal concerns, and general commercial law is ideal.

+ Skills:

+ Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.

+ Ability to analyze and solve legal and business issues effectively.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with executives and staff at all levels.

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

+ Business Acumen: A strategic thinker with a practical, business-focused approach to legal issues.

+ Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management tools.
