Position Summary:

We are hiring an experienced Patient Intake & Scheduling Coordinator to join our front desk team. In this role, you’ll help patients get the care they need by managing appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and intake documentation. You’ll also coordinate with vendors and provide excellent service to everyone who walks through our doors.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Schedule appointments for new and returning patients

•  Create and update patient profiles in the EHR system

•  Verify insurance coverage and patient eligibility

•  Ensure all required forms and documents are completed and signed

•  Answer patient inquiries in person and over the phone

•  Coordinate with external vendors such as labs, transportation providers, and interpreters

•  Maintain strict patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)

•  Support the front desk and administrative team with day-to-day tasks

Requirements:

•  Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is required

•  Strong understanding of insurance verification and patient intake processes

•  Comfortable using electronic health record (EHR) systems

•  Excellent communication and customer service skills

•  Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment

•  Spanish-speaking strongly preferred

•  Must be reliable, professional, and patient-focused
