    The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is possibly looking for a Senior Software Engineer to provide support for our government customer in Dayton, OH. This may be a remote position.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Aid in the development of a web application which hosts a suite of predictive analytics.

    + Able to demonstrate their knowledge in actual code.

    + Able to demonstrate writing a web application independently.

    + Able to demonstrate the ability to visualize data.

    + Able to demonstrate visualizing hierarchical data structures.

    + Obtain HIPAA training upon performance of work.

    + Maintain HIPPA standards and prevent data leaks.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION:

    Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an extremely related field and be a qualified software engineer, with a minimum of five (5) years’ demonstrated experience in Python and at least three (3) years’ experience in JavaScript. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

     

    + Demonstrate experience of Scrum Process

    + Demonstrate experience of Git Source Control

    + Demonstrate experience of UNIX systems.

    + Demonstrate experience of basic networking (OSI model layers 3 & 4).

    + Must be willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

    HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

    + Experience working with a team of data scientists to develop novel dashboards to enable interaction with AI technologies.

    + Experience with Flask Web Serving Library in Python.

    + Experience with SQLAlchemy ORM library in Python.

    + Experience with HTML/CSS.

    + Experience with web application development in any capacity.

    + Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.

    + Experience with SQL and Databases.

    REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

    + Must be U.S. Citizen

    + Must Pass a Tier 1 background check (T1)/SF85 and be eligible for a CAC card.
