Seeking Remote Pharmacists for a Pharmacy Benefits Management Company!!

Job Description

This role involves utilizing clinical skills to conduct utilization management reviews, including prior authorizations, coverage exceptions, and quantity limit exceptions. As a pharmacist, you will work independently within a team of pharmacy professionals to complete these reviews. Your performance will be assessed based on monthly quality and productivity goals. While new pharmacists are considered potential long-term employees, contracts are evaluated every six months for extension.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct utilization management reviews independently among a team of pharmacy professionals.

+ Meet monthly quality and productivity goals.

+ Participate in specialized training opportunities for reviewing complex cases, such as oncology and hepatitis C.

+ Cross-train for other departments, such as Medication Therapy Management (MTM) or Call Center Counseling (CCC), if available.

Essential Skills

+ Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science Pharmacy degree.

+ Current pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy in the state where the position is located.

+ 2+years of experience in retail, managed care, or clinical pharmacy.

Work Environment

This is a fully remote position, available to candidates residing in any state except California, Hawaii, or Virginia. Candidates can be licensed in any U.S. state, but must not live in Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $55.00/hr.
