About the role

Are you looking to play a practical, hands-on role in a company that's at the forefront of consumer health and hygiene? Join us at Reckitt as a Production Employee, and be part of a team dedicated to creating world-changing products. This is an opportunity toperform all repairs, preventative maintenance, system monitoring, documentation, and testing of utilities equipment and related systems.

Your responsibilities

+ Monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair utilities equipment that includes, and not limited to, the following (compressed air and associated equipment, glycol systems, boilers and steam equipment, filtration systems, process and potable water systems, and HVAC systems)

+ Perform routine preventative maintenance and daily monitoring/testing of critical utilities systems that includes, and not limited to, the following systems (DeltaV, Metasys)

+ Perform necessary tests to include daily sampling to ensure proper operation of equipment

+ Perform periodic safety inspections of utilities equipment and related systems

+ Proficient in use of computers and automated systems

+ Use SAP CMMS to record maintenance activities, inspections, repairs made, and parts used

+ Complete all necessary reports and documentation as required

+ Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in accordance to all safety and GMP policies

+ Function independently and in a team setting as required

+ Interact with internal and external customers in a professional manner

The experience we're looking for

+ Current City of Grand Rapids or State of MI boiler license required or must obtain license after one year of service.

+ A minimum of (5) years experience directly related to boiler operation and utilities systems is required

+ Must have ability to read and understand P&ID and control diagrams.
