Responsibilities:
GENERAL PURPOSE
With limited direction, manages the test proctoring services and note taking services offered by the Office of Disability Resources. The provision and execution of academic accommodations is required for compliance under the Americans with Disabilities Act as Amended. Position requires frontline professional interaction and communication with faculty members, students, and staff across all schools of the University.
This is a full-time, regular, position with a standard work schedule of 10 calendar months consistent with the academic school year.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
+ Administers individual exam sessions with instructors, staff, and students via an online system, including setup and confirmation.
+ Maintains the day-to-day schedule of exams.
+ Reserves rooms for testing.
+ Records the receipt and pick-up of exams and maintains records of exam administrations. (25%)
+ Ensures provision of individualized test accommodations.
+ Responds to examination and student crises and maintains confidentiality regarding student interactions and records.
+ Ensures the academic integrity of all administered examinations. (25%)
+ Manages the provision of notes as an accommodation.
+ Ensures the quality and timely delivery of notes.
+ Coordinates the establishment of note accommodations using an online database.
+ Trains students on use of note taking service platforms.
+ Communicates regularly with staff in Disability Resources regarding accommodation needs.
+ Maintains accurate and detailed records of note taking accommodations.
+ Supervises student proctors and student note takers.
+ Recruits and hires student employees.
+ Trains student employees on policies, procedures, and best practices.
+ Provides feedback on performance.
+ Manages payroll for student employees.
+ Provides front desk coverage for department, as needed

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
+ Associate’s degree required.
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred.
+ 3 years of progressively responsible experience in administrative support required.
+ Or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
+ Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills required.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, FileMaker Pro, virtual collaboration tools (Zoom, Box), and Adobe required.
+ Knowledge of office procedures and database entry principles required.
+ Strong customer service skills required.
+ Ability to effectively communicate and interact, both verbally and in writing, with individuals across diverse backgrounds and cultures required.
+ Intermediate knowledge of hardware and software functionality preferred.
