JOB SUMMARY AND PURPOSE
The Respite Care Admin Specialist I provides experience-based competencies and administrative assistance to further efforts of the program staff to fulfill the contracted goals and objectives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Maintain client and employee records
+ Address Funder administrative requirements
+ Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
+ RECORD AND TRACK SERVICES: Keep and maintain appropriate records of all services provided to clients, in both hard (paper) and soft (electronic) files, ensuring records are accurate and matching; report regularly to Caregiver Services Manager progress of project timelines.
+ FUNDER FOCUS: Keep comprehensive records of compliance with Funder and Regulatory requirements.
+ Other duties as required and may be subject to change
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
+ Must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance, background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications
EDUCATION:
+ Associate-s degree in Social Work (or related discipline) or a combination of relevant education and experience (2 years).
EXPERIENCE:
+ 1 year of experience in administration of a social services organization (assisting programs, projects, or staff)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Experience with managing public contacts (e.g. HUD ESG, SAMHSA)
+ Experience with report development for public funders
+ Experience with HMIS and other relevant databases used by partner service providers
+ Ability to work with people from various backgrounds and/or limited English capabilities
