    The Last Mile Fleet In Life Services team is looking for a Sr Product Manager to own the end-to-end strategy and execution of the Fleet Improvement Fund (FIF) in North America. FIF is Amazon's innovative program that supports Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) with expected wear & tear related fleet repair costs. This leader will shape the future vision of FIF through deep collaboration with engineering teams to build and enhance the Fleet Portal experience, Central Operations teams to define and refine claim validation processes, Economist teams to optimize fund allocation process, Field teams to assess impact to fleet condition, and Finance teams to manage budget and claims process. The FIF Sr Product Manager owns the integration of inspection technologies into the FIF workflow, establish and monitor key performance metrics, and continuously optimize the program based on data insights and DSP feedback. This individual will need to develop clear communications and training materials, manage stakeholder relationships across multiple organizations, balance DSP experience with proper controls and audit mechanisms, and regularly present program performance to senior leadership. The Sr Product Manager will work closely with field operations and DSP stakeholders to ensure the experience is a success. A successful candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, has strong attention to detail, and is able to influence others through excellent data driven written and verbal communications skills.

     

    This role is focused on Customer Obsession, Earn Trust, Think Big, and Deliver Results. This role requires ability to navigate ambiguity, deep dive customer paint points in the field, to use data to define a roadmap, and an interest in technology.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Product Development: Deep Dives Fleet Condition Assessment and FIF utilization to drive changes required for FIF.

    • Product Roadmap: Defines functional, user experience, financial controllership, and other business requirements. Manages feature prioritization; provides business requirements document, and make the right CX / UX trade-offs. Involved in product launch and understanding performance. Works with program to troubleshoot user problems when product is in production.

    • Communication / training: Manages documentation and creates training to provide awareness and transparency of FIF features, with both internal and external users. Keeps stakeholders informed, and creates mechanisms that support training to close knowledge gaps at scale.

    • Execution: Manages the day to day exception handling, defines scalable solutions for root cause issues, and executes quarterly FIF True Up processes.

    • Analysis: owns FIF utilization insights, identifies fraud exposure opportunities proactively, leads automation and self-serve dashboard requirements and action on the product design opportunities to achieve the end goal to improve fleet condition.

    • Budgeting: owns product budget and forecast, tracks performance through weekly business reviews, and leads annual planning process.

    Global Fleet Products (GFP) is responsible for all last mile fleet operations for Amazon Logistics. We are part of the NA Last Mile Fleet Operations in the In Life Services (ILS) team. Our team is responsible for Strategic Products & Programs, including new programs, product integration, DSP accountability, and planning.

    Basic Qualifications

    - 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

     

    - Bachelor's degree or equivalent

     

    - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

     

    - Experience with end to end product delivery

     

    - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

     

    - Experience as a product manager or owner

     

    - Experience owning technology products

     

    - Experience in using statistical analysis to identify issues or opportunities for improvement

    Preferred Qualifications

    - Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

     

    - Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

     

    - Experience with SQL, Matlab, Minitab, Python

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
