    Description

    Truck Shop Manager

     

    This position will be responsible for managing truck shop activities which would include leading of other employees while understanding operations efficiencies and general procedures.

    BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Ensure that all employees are working safely and following PPC safety policies and procedures

    + Maintain repair records and preventive maintenance programs on all equipment

    + Train and update training on all employees to provide high quality repairs to all Pilgrim's Pride rolling stock

    + Provide positive people oriented work environment designed to improve skills, build morale and reduce turnover

    + Operate within the guidelines of environmental laws and regulations

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience

    + Knowledge of DOT regulations

    + Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office programs); SAP experience preferred

    + Must have effective oral and written skills

    + Self-motivated and ability to work well with others

    + Adherence to regulations and company policies

     

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/GED; Bachelor’s Degree preferred but would consider a combination of education and work experience.
