    Description

    Premier client located in the Great Wilmington Delaware area is looking for an AP Analyst who can manage their accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, and expense reports. This A/P Analyst will review, process, and verify payments, analyze and reconcile vendor statements, maintain vendor records, print checks, assist with month-end and year-end closing, and collaborate with procurement, receiving, and other departments to resolve invoice and payment discrepancies. The ideal A/P Analyst should be highly experienced in accounts payable with the ability to analyze problems and work out their solutions effectively and accordingly.

    Primary Duties

    • Print and process checks

    • Journal Entries

    • Match and batch purchase orders

    • Run ad-hoc reports when needed

    • Coordinate with directors to obtain consent on appropriate expenses

    • Provide financial reports to management

    • Account reconciliations

    • Encourage improvements where needed

    • Assist with invoice processing

    • Partake in annual audit process

    Requirements

    The ideal A/P Analyst will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration.

    Other requirements for the A/P Analyst role include and are not limited to:

    • 2+ years of AP experience

    • Legal or professional services industry preferred

    • Elite 3E software experience preferred

    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
