Description We are looking for a skilled Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. This Contract-to-permanent position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to contribute to financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis. The role offers a hybrid work schedule, blending in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the monthly financial statement close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct in-depth general ledger reviews and perform variance analysis to identify and address discrepancies.
• Prepare detailed financial statements and reports, adhering to organizational standards.
• Provide strategic recommendations on budgetary matters and offer technical guidance for budget preparation.
• Handle journal entries and ensure proper documentation for financial transactions.
• Reconcile accounts, including billing and bank reconciliations, to maintain financial integrity.
• Analyze cost mitigation strategies to optimize financial performance.
• Generate and present financial reports, including budget-to-actual comparisons, for leadership review.
• Manage accrual processes to ensure compliance with accounting principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support invoicing and other financial operations. Requirements • Proven experience in financial analysis, including variance analysis and reporting.
• Proficiency in preparing journal entries and conducting account reconciliations.
• Strong background in month-end close processes and financial statement preparation.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with budgeting processes and providing technical support for budget development.
• Ability to analyze cost mitigation strategies and offer actionable recommendations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in handling invoicing and reconciliations.
• Strong communication skills to present financial insights to stakeholders.
