    Overview

     

    We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented **Sanitation Supervisor** to lead a dedicated sanitation team and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety in a dynamic production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is passionate about maintaining quality and safety.

     

    What You'll Do

    Lead & Inspire

    + Supervise and motivate the sanitation team to create a collaborative, high-performance work culture.

    + Provide clear guidance and ongoing support, while fostering accountability and teamwork.

    + Evaluate team performance and deliver constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.

    Train & Develop

    + Conduct training on sanitation methods, equipment use, and safety protocols to ensure skill development and compliance.

    + Facilitate regular refresher sessions to keep the team up to date with best practices and new standards.

    Coordinate & Execute

    + Manage the Master Sanitation Schedule, efficiently delegate tasks, and optimize team strengths to maximize productivity.

    + Monitor staffing needs and adjust schedules to meet operational demands.

    + Maintain thorough records of sanitation activities, inspections, and training sessions, ensuring readiness for audits and regulatory compliance.

    Ensure Safety & Compliance

    + Oversee the availability and proper use of sanitation chemicals, supplies, and equipment.

    + Implement and improve sanitation, environmental, and pest control programs to meet strict quality and safety standards.

    + Actively participate in sanitation activities, modeling best practices and supporting the team in achieving sanitation goals.

    What You'll Bring

    + **Education:** High School Diploma or equivalent.

    + **Experience:** 2–5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in sanitation within a food processing or manufacturing environment.

    + **Skills:**

    + Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively guide and engage the team.

    + Problem-solving abilities to quickly address and resolve sanitation challenges.

    + Excellent time management to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

    Physical & Mental Requirements

    + Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.

    + Comfortable working in cold (38°F) and wet environments.

    + Strong attention to visual detail and manual dexterity.

    + Ability to handle various cleaning chemicals safely.

    + Willingness to demonstrate poise and diplomacy when interacting with team members and other departments.

    **Pay Details:** $26.00 to $28.85 per hour
