Career Opportunity:

Responsible for picking up organic waste from multiple customer locations and loading up the material on the box truck to bring back to the plant for dumping and cleaning purposes. Organics driver will then return clean cans to customer sites in a timely and safe manner.

How you will impact WestRock:

* Compliance with WestRock safety rules.

* Knowledge of and compliance with company regulations.

* Perform preventative maintenance according to company PM system and manufacturer\u2019s specifications.

* Troubleshoot issues with box truck and maintain organization inside.

* Identify inbound/outbound customers

* Maintain Scale weights of product

* Inspect cleanliness of cans before returning to customers.

* Source out contractor assistance

* Safely back box truck in at tight angles on site and at customer locations.

* Attend daily shift meeting to prioritize and daily tasks and minimize down time.

* Actively participate in plant safety programs and trainings.

* Maintain a safe a clean work area at all times.

* Perform organics washing duties if parts washer personnel is out.

* Service all customers on schedule even if it takes after hours of scheduled time.

What you need to succeed:

* High school diploma or G.E.D preferred.

* Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

* Team player and willing to work with minimal supervision.

* Must pass a background check and drug screen.

* Alert, focused and detail oriented.

* Physically and mentally fit.

* Must have ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, route sheets, operating procedures and equipment manuals.

* Must be willing to work overtime as needed.

* Rotational weekend work is mandatory.

* Must be able to work 2nd shift.

* Must be able to maintain good attendance.

* Must be able to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
