    Job Title: 2nd Shift Utility Clerk

    Job Description

    We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Utility Clerk to support our 2nd shift operations in a dynamic aerospace manufacturing environment. This role is essential to maintaining smooth logistics and inventory flow, with a strong emphasis on packing, shipping and receiving, and inventory control. The ideal candidate thrives working independently with minimal supervision and demonstrates a strong commitment to accuracy and efficiency.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform packing of aerospace components and materials according to company and customer specifications.

    + Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, including inspection, documentation, and labeling.

    + Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and stock organization.

    + Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment as needed (certification preferred).

    + Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout all tasks.

    + Communicate effectively with day shift teams to ensure continuity and accurate handoffs.

    Essential Skills

    + Data entry, scanning, validation, and inventory control.

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + 1+ year of experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory role preferred.

    + Ability to work independently and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.

    + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    + Strong computer skills for inventory and shipping systems.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Certification for operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is preferred.

     

    Work Environment

     

    The role is based in a dynamic aerospace manufacturing environment with operations running from Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM. The position requires adherence to safety and quality standards. Employees are expected to work independently, manage time efficiently, and communicate effectively with various teams for smooth operational handoffs.

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valencia, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
