This position is open to internal candidates only
Supervises and manages the Student Affairs and One Stop operation at the Worthington Atlantic City Campus.
Examples of Duties
+ Manages, implements, and oversees holistic programs in support of student success and retention programs at the Worthington Atlantic City Campus
+ Leads the One Stop Enrollment process from completion of the admission application through registration
+ Leads student enrollment and retention efforts for both new, current, returning and transfer students
+ Leads student services operations utilizing various online solutions such as Ellucian productions, Customer Relations Management (CRM), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems
+ Develops relevant student engagement programming that supports enrollment, retention, and successful achievement of student’s academic and career goals
+ Supervises all aspects of Student Services (i.e. Admissions, Financial Aid, Enrollment Services, Advising, Counseling, and Student Engagement) on the Worthington Atlantic City Campus
+ Manages campus food insecurity efforts and pantry
+ Creates and coordinates activities that address the academic and personal development needs of students, advising leaders on student development needs and serving on faculty committees
+ Manages and coordinates all student development programs (career, transfer, work-study) as well as student activities at Worthington Atlantic City Campus, developing planning, implementation, conducting assessment and reporting
+ Serves as liaison between student programs and the academic community
+ Provides academic advisement, career, social/personal and transfer counseling in individual and group settings
+ Leads new student orientation sessions and facilitates seminars and workshops on various topics relevant to student services for the Worthington Atlantic City Campus
+ Provides crisis intervention and referral services as needed and supports the efforts of the Behavioral Assessment Team
+ Assists Student Affairs directors in developing student, faculty, and community needs-assessments instruments to inform program revisions
+ Coordinates, develops, and supports the articulation agreement program in conjunction with various college area
+ Maintains all aspects of the NJ Transfer Program
+ Reconciles all courses related to Atlantic Cape and NJ Transfer
+ Designs and produces student development publications including departmental brochures, student handbook, and student success guides and support materials
+ Assists counselors and advisors in providing resources and information on their assigned colleges for transfer and assists in the development of student tracking system for those transferring
+ Serves as liaison between academic administrators, faculty and Student Development in updating articulation information received for other colleges
+ Manages budget planning, budget review, budget processing and budget reporting for student development
+ Provides assistance with completing Financial Aid Appeals
+ Works productively with students and staff from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds
+ Utilizes effective written and oral communication
+ Administers and interprets various assessment instruments
+ Provide Community Outreach support as needed
+ Performs related duties as assigned
Typical Qualifications
Education:
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ Master's degree preferred
Experience:
+ 3-5 years of experience working in a higher education environment with a culturally diverse and/or academically high-risk population
+ Supervisory experience preferred
+ Experience working with Ellucian’s Colleague management information system preferred
Competencies and Skills:
+ Ability to work productively with students and staff from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds
+ Effective written and oral communication skills

+ This position may require flexible scheduling to include evenings and weekends and duties at any Atlantic Cape location.
