    Overview

     

    A Technical Program Lead in the Digital Transformation and Technology department acts as the “bridge” between business challenges and technology solutions. They work with functional partners to understand how data-driven changes to process, products, services, software, and hardware can improve efficiencies and add value to our Consumer technology product portfolio.

     

    In this role, the Technical Program Lead will be responsible for creating technology solutions that ensure our Consumer digital ordering, membership, brand engagement, and customer relationship management experiences are "Radically Convenient, Remarkably Human." Responsibilities include leading the creation and execution of cross-functional technology initiatives that expand our Consumer capabilities, partnering closely with Customer Digital & Delivery, Brand Advertising & Media, Innovation & New Ventures teams while collaborating heavily across many product teams to launch strategic solutions. In particular, this role will support current technology product teams deliver relevant digital experience configuration experiences in a unified and consistent way for Marketing partners that ultimately alleviates Marketing operations burden on CTS staff.

     

    Successful execution will result in scalable and integrated solutions for Chick-fil-A. These solutions will provide Customers with remarkable experiences, Chick-fil-A restaurant Operators with new entrepreneurial opportunities, and the business with new avenues for future growth in digital and on-demand economy.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead multiple large technical initiatives and/or programs related to Chick-fil-A Consumer product portfolio.

    + Responsible for defining requirements, identifying technical solutions, execution of technical tasks, creation of documentation (requirements, process maps, test plans, etc.), and communication with functional partners.

    + Support and troubleshoot high complexity and/or business impacting issues and assist other team members with lower complexity issues.

    + May also support the work of more junior people on the broader team and communicate with functional partners or vendors related to assigned areas of work.

    + Regularly assist with upgrades, perform backups, identify customizations, and speak into the lifecycle of the systems within area of responsibility.

    + Understand all aspects of system including how they interact with and/or impact other systems or business processes.

    + Define strategy, lifecycle, and design decisions for system.

    + Influence the direction of areas of responsibility and consistently make significant contributions and some decisions towards vision, strategy, and design.

    + Influence the enterprise in a specific functional area through specific role experience and deep systems knowledge in a given domain.

    + Own the strategic relationship with the functional and technical partners on systems.

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience from which comparable skills can be acquired

    + 5+ years of relevant work experience

    + Knowledge and/or experience with other Agile development approaches and techniques

    + Demonstration of leadership and strong collaboration at all levels

    + Experience in driving teams and management to decisions

    + Experience with technical systems, data structures and languages

    + Ability to effectively manage vendors

    + Cybersecurity principles

    + Experience leading significant technical initiative and programs

    + Knowledge and/or experience with development approaches and techniques.

    + Experience in driving teams and management to decisions

    + Ability to understand business needs and translate them to techno-functional requirements that deliver desired outcomes

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills

    + Excellent personal and relational intelligence

    + Demonstration of leadership and strong collaboration

    + Ability to quickly learn and comprehend technical systems

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related technical field

    + Experience with UX/Ui Design

    + Experience with Product Ownership/Product Management

    + Experience with Cloud Providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) and Mircoservices Architectures

    + Experience with Kubernetes and Istio for container orchestration and service mesh architecture

    + Knowledgeable in modern authentication and authorization standards including OAuth2, OIDC, and JWT.

    + Certified Scrum Master

    + Certified Scrum Product Owner

    + Certified Agile Leader
