Job Summary
TEKsystems is seeking a highly skilled Windows DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Windows IIS and .NET application integration to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in supporting and maintaining high-volume, multi-tiered applications in a complex enterprise environment. You will be responsible for deployment, middleware management, and environment stability across lower-level test environments.
Key Responsibilities
+ Manage and maintain Windows-based environments (Windows Server 2012/2016).
+ Deploy and support .NET applications integrated with IIS and other middleware components.
+ Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and QA teams to support integrated and independent releases.
+ Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues.
+ Automate system administration tasks using PowerShell and DevOps tools.
+ Maintain pristine, production-like test environments.
+ Participate in system patching, server rebuilds, and technical documentation.
+ Support after-hours and weekend deployments as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
+ 5+ years of experience with Windows Server (2012/2016) and IIS.
+ Strong hands-on experience with .NET application integration and middleware support.
+ Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
+ Experience with DevOps tools such as Ansible, XLR, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines.
+ Solid understanding of multi-tier applications, networking, and SQL.
+ Familiarity with Agile methodologies and environment management best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
+ Experience with Java Runtime Environments (JRE) and other middleware technologies.
+ Strong communication and documentation skills.
+ Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
