Chief Financial Officer
Position Summary
Our client, a highly regarded, rapidly growing industry leader, is seeking a talented and strategic CFO to take ownership of the fiscal health of the business through building, guiding and mentoring a best-in-class finance team, working closely with the CEO and providing strategic advice to the executive suite and cross-functional divisional leaders, and collaborating regularly with supportive and experienced private equity partners. The ideal candidate would have proven financial leadership of a growing business between $80-130M in revenue and will bring a combination of tactical, hands-on experience, with the ability to strategically guide the organization through the financial challenges of specific stages of growth, relying on a values-driven approach, proven technical knowledge, and exceptional leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
+ The CFO is an integral member of the executive leadership team and will oversee all financial operations and day-to-day fiscal management of the organization.
+ Serve as a leader to a high-performing finance team of 8-10 members, evaluating the skills, knowledge, and abilities of the team and mentoring them to future success through development plans for all direct reports.
+ Must bring an acute understanding of financial operations with proven experience in planning, executing and monitoring all financial activities, including the establishment of financial goals and priorities, budget development, forecasting, benchmarking, contract monitoring, cash flow, investments, P&L, balance sheet, and revenue cycle operations.
+ Ensure the standardization, timely delivery, and accuracy of all financial reports, embedding best practices within the organization, and providing insights into the probable financial performance of the organization’s aggressive growth initiatives.
+ Develop and maintain effective internal control systems and manage all tax, audit, and consulting engagements that support the organization's financial activities.
Requirements
+ A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, and strategic planning, including a minimum of 5 years of management and leadership experience.
+ Prior experience partnering and collaborating with growth-focused private equity teams and involvement with M&A due diligence and integrations, financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning.
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required, CPA, MBA, or similar financial credentials strongly preferred.
+ Previous experience within the healthcare industry strongly preferred, not required.
