Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. You will support and develop next-generation test solutions and contribute to complex test engineering assignments. A high degree of technical competence is required to define and develop test methods/processes and create state-of-the-art applications, tools, and documentation for automated instrument test.
Responsibilities
+ Execute test plans and test cases for various products and systems
+ Perform functional, regression, and performance testing
+ Analyze test results and report defects using bug tracking tools
+ Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to understand product requirements
+ Assist in the development and maintenance of automated test scripts
+ Participate in design and code reviews to ensure testability and quality
+ Document test procedures, results, and findings
+ Define and develop test methods/processes and create state-of-the-art applications and tools
+ Contribute to the development of test strategies and conform to quality and strategy requirements
+ Be active in the test engineering community
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, physics, or mathematics
+ Programming skills in Java, C/C++, Python, or other structured languages
+ Basic understanding of testing methodologies and tools
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
+ Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills
+ Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Preferred Skills
+ Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks
+ Knowledge of hardware testing and debugging
+ Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN)
+ Understanding of Agile development practices
+ Hands-on experience with test and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, signal sources, VNAs, etc.)
+ Familiarity with National Instruments LabVIEW
+ Data analysis skills including statistical modeling
+ Experience with data acquisition and test automation
+ Exposure to metrology practices
This position's primary/essential functions are subject to US Government ITAR compliance requirements under current government contracts. Bonus or Equity
This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.
Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is $75,000
