Our company is looking for full-time Well Tenders. This critical role supports oilfield activity by monitoring and maintaining well sites, ensuring optimal production, and performing routine inspections, measurements, and light maintenance. Well Tenders play a key role in keeping operations running safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards. Job Summary:
The Well Tender is responsible for monitoring, operating, and maintaining oil and gas wells to ensure optimal production and safety. This field-based role includes performing inspections, recording production data, troubleshooting equipment issues, and coordinating with other field personnel to ensure continuous operations. The position requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently in varying weather and terrain conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Monitor and record daily oil, gas, and water production volumes.
+ Perform routine well site inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation.
+ Gauge tank levels and initiate oil or water hauls when necessary.
+ Detect, troubleshoot, and report mechanical or operational issues.
+ Conduct basic field maintenance and equipment adjustments as needed.
+ Collect and document meter readings, pressures, and other production data.
+ Ensure well sites are clean, secure, and compliant with safety and environmental regulations.
+ Work closely with pumpers, lease operators, and other team members to optimize production.
+ Assist with startups, shutdowns, and restarts of wells as required.
+ Communicate with operations and field supervisors to coordinate hauling and service needs.
+ Work professionally and respectfully with landowners, government officials, contractors, and others.
+ Perform other required duties and responsibilities at the direction of the supervisor.
+ Comply with company policies, safety protocols, and applicable state/federal regulations.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ Previous oilfield or field operations experience preferred but not required.
+ Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to operate ATVs, 4WD trucks, and hand tools.
+ Basic computer or tablet skills for data entry and reporting.
+ Valid driver's license with a driving record acceptable to Pennhills Resources' insurance carrier.
+ Must pass drug screening and physical prior to employment.
Working Conditions:
+ Field-based role with daily travel between well sites.
+ Work performed in outdoor environments with exposure to weather, noise, and uneven terrain.
+ May involve lifting equipment and working around hazardous materials or pressurized systems.
+ On-call duties, or weekend work may be required.
+ Operation of 4-wheelers unless extreme/adverse weather conditions occur.
