Machine Control Technology - Field Service Technician

Territory: Southeastern PA, DE and Mid-Southern NJ

Pay : $70,000 - $80,000/year (dependent on relevant experience)

Bonus : 5% Bonus Potential

Based out of : Allentown, PA

Territory: Southeastern PA, DE, and Mid-Southern NJ

Details on SITECH Products:

Trimble : machine control, site positioning, intelligent compaction, paving control, drilling and piling, and office software

Spectra Precision : laser levels, grade levels, pipe lasers, and laser receivers

Propeller : 3D drone mapping and data analytics

Responsibilities:

+ Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting all types of Trimble Machine Control Technology

+ Performing training and completing service work orders

+ Requirements: travel to customers, on site / some overnight stay when needed

+ Opportunity to grow (with identified strengths) – into sales, support, training, etc.

+ Represent the company in a positive, professional manner

+ Proactively pursue sales opportunities during customer interactions

+ Work in a proactive, safe manner in compliance with all safety practices, policies and training

+ This is a field position that is offered with a company vehicle: Ford F150 XL

Qualifications:

+ Minimum two (2) years’ experience in mechanical service – troubleshooting electrical software and hardware issues

+ Construction machinery, and technology preferred

+ Clean and valid driver’s license required (this is a road/field service position)

+ Must be highly computer proficient to be able to run diagnostic software and prepare service communications

+ Must have strong communication and high-level self-management skills

Physical Requirements:

+ Standing and walking

+ Lifting (up to 60lbs.)

+ Carrying (up to 50lbs.)

+ Push/pull (up to 80lbs.)

+ Sitting, rotation and forward bending (sitting and standing)

+ Hand coordination and reaching

+ Grip (80lbs. with both hands, 30lbs. with preferred/single hand)

+ Foot pedal operation

+ Crawling, low work (kneeling), and awkward positioning

+ Outdoor work (as required)
