    Adjunct Lecturer or Adjunct Assistant Professor – History Department, Philosophy Courses

    FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

    The ability to teach courses in Philosophy, including PHL Introduction to Philosophy 11

     

    Day, Evening, or online teaching may be required.

     

    Performs teaching, research and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise. Shares responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    For Adjunct Assistant Professor:

    • Doctorate in appropriate area(s) of Philosophy or related field.

    For Adjunct Lecturer:

    • Master’s degree in Philosophy or related field.

     

    Also required for all titles, is the ability to teach successfully and minimum of one year of college teaching experience.

    COMPENSATION

    Adjunct Lecturer: $96.47-$107.79/hour; commensurate with experience and qualifications

     

    Adjunct Assistant Professor: $106.09-116.56/hour; commensurate with experience and qualifications
