As the Data, Reporting and Test Integrity Supervisor, this position will ensure high quality psychometric, data analysis, reporting, test integrity and research activities to ensure current and newly developed statewide assessments are reliable, valid and defensible assessments, assessment results are reported accurately, and research is conducted in a timely and meaningful manner.
This position will manage the scoring and reporting processes including scheduling and coordination with outside assessment vendors and MNIT. In addition, the supervisor works closely with test development, project management, and other agency colleagues.
This position is eligible for telework to applicants who reside in Minnesota or a bordering state. Effective June 1, employees living within 50 miles of the office location listed above will be required to work in the office at least 50% of the time each month. For those who live 50 or more miles away, with supervisory approval and satisfactory performance are eligible to telework up to 100% of the time.
Minimum Qualifications

Five (5) years of professional experience with large-scale assessments.
Experience must include:
+ Demonstrated experience or advanced degree(s) in psychometrics, educational measurement or related field, including psychometric theories and applications.
+ Experience working with large data sets in statistical software packages commonly used in educational measurement.
+ Knowledge of academic standards and connection with test results, scoring/reporting, and research functions.
+ Experience developing and communicating requirements to a variety of stakeholders with different technical expertise.
OR
A master’s degree in psychometrics, educational measurement or related field may substitute for 18 months of experience; a bachelor’s degree in psychometrics, educational measurement or related field may substitute for one (1) year of experience with four (4) years of professional experience with large-scale assessments.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience in communicating complex assessment information and research results to audiences having highly varied levels of technical sophistication.
+ Experience solving problems in various situations with test development psychometrics activities, scoring, reporting, and research, and with staffing and scheduling.
+ Experience navigating competing priorities with efficiency and precision with demonstrated experience in identifying critical tasks while ensuring accuracy and follow-through across all responsibilities.
+ Skill in human relations to understand, develop, motivate, collaborate with, persuade, and lead others.
+ Knowledge of research design and data analysis, especially related to education assessment reporting.
+ Knowledge of federal and state requirements related to statewide assessments.
