Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in information systems. Conduct academic research leading to publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. Seek external funding to support research and academic initiatives. Engage and inspire students through effective teaching and mentorship. Contribute to the department, university, and broader academic community through service activities.
Minimum Education Requirements:
PhD or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. ABDs with a documented plan of completion by appointment date will be considered.
Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements:
Experience or potential for teaching information systems courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate level required. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to foster an engaging learning environment and manage classroom dynamics effectively. Commitment to teaching excellence and student success, including a willingness to develop strong instructional skills. Ability to adapt to evolving teaching formats, including online, hybrid, and in-person instruction.
