We are looking for a detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join a respected municipal law firm in Eagan, Minnesota. This role offers an exciting opportunity for professionals with litigation experience to expand their knowledge in civil municipal and real estate law. The position is fully on-site and requires excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and track deadlines, court filings (including electronic filing), and maintain attorney calendars to ensure smooth case progression.

• Schedule meetings, appearances, and facilitate communication between attorneys and clients.

• Assist attorneys in drafting pleadings, discovery documents, and preparing cases for litigation.

• Support trial preparation by organizing exhibits and compiling necessary materials.

• Draft development agreements and verify the accuracy of real estate documents for recording.

• Coordinate administrative tasks to streamline case management and legal processes.We are partnering with a leading municipal law firm serving local government entities across the Twin Cities metro to hire a Legal Assistant/Paralegal. This position is a great fit for someone with at least two years of litigation experience who’s interested in gaining more exposure to civil municipal and real estate law.

This is a fully on-site position located in the SE Metro.

+ Coordinate meetings, appearances, and communications between attorneys and clients

+ Support attorneys with drafting pleadings, discovery, and case preparation

+ Assist with trial prep, including organizing exhibits and preparing materials

+ Draft development agreements & ensure real estate materials are accurate and ready for recording

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ At least 2+ years of litigation experience (required)

+ Experience in civil municipal and real estate law preferred

+ Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
