    Our Quick Coupling Division in Grantsburg, WI is looking for a Maintenance Technician to help keep our plant and equipment running. You will perform routine maintenance on manufacturing machinery and participate in rigging, moving, and erecting all types of machine tools and equipment.

     

    What Is a Quick Coupling?

A quick coupling is used to provide a fast, make-or-break connection of fluid or gas transfer lines. Our Grantsburg plant provides critical equipment for many different industries including Agriculture, Construction, and Fire & Rescue teams.

     

    + Participate in rigging, moving and erecting all types of machine tools and equipment for new installations or intra-plant layout changes.

    + Dismantle and reassemble machines undergoing repairs, overhauls and/or rebuilds.

    + Perform structural and sheet metal work, rough carpentry, pipe fitting, plumbing, electrical, welding, HVAC, etc. incidental to operations.

    + Maintain buildings which include the repair of windows, doors, roof, floors, stairways, light fixtures, etc.; constructs shop partitions, bins, racks, pallets, shipping crates, etc.

    + Conducts safety checks

    + Maintain inventory control of maintenance supplies.

    + Perform electrical duties such as pulling wire, hanging conduit, wiring boxes and circuit breaker panels. Do necessary troubleshooting of electrical problems and fix.

    + Have knowledge and the ability to work on pneumatic equipment, electronic equipment, and hydraulic equipment. Be able to troubleshoot and repair or send to an outside source.

    + Do preventive and predictive maintenance on machinery and equipment. Oil and lubricate machines and equipment as necessary.

    + Must understand solid state and conventional designs; logic, control, sensing, analyzing and power circuits; high voltage, radio frequency circuits; inductive/reactive problems, single and poly-phase; motor control, DC and AC.

    + Requires a technical knowledge sufficient to deal with complicated and involved mechanical, electrical or other engineering problems; includes use of higher mathematics involved in the application of engineering principles and the performance of the related operations.

    + Comprehensive knowledge in the mechanical field, buildings, electrical, pneumatics, machine preventive/predictive maintenance, electronics, computer programming and hydraulics.

    + Successful completion or pursuing of a Technical Trainer Course.

    + Forklift license required.

    + Good working knowledge of computers.

    Schedule

    + Monday - Friday

    + 4 - 9-hour shifts and 1 - 4-hour shift per week

    + Scheduled Start Time 2:15pm
