Team:
Philanthropy Cash Ops Payments Service, focused on building strong research
collaboration, is positioned to keep leading best practices in this space and provide our client
(a fortune 500 organization) the ability to operate with greater coordination and transparency.
Job Responsibilities:
• Act as an interface between Client company and leading global academic institutions
to ensure timely processing of award payments.
• Assist in review, and execute a wide range of agreements/contracts.
• Identify and flag any ambiguous, omitted, or potentially inaccurate statements in
contract drafts.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments of contract terms and conditions to identify
potential liabilities, compliance issues, or unfavorable clauses as per the client
directive.
• Ensure all contracts comply with applicable local, national, and international laws,
regulations, and industry standards.
• Identify process gaps and recommend solutions to drive process efficiency.
• Deliver assigned tasks within SLA and conduct RCAs for discrepancies.
• Collaborate globally to achieve targets on throughput and accuracy.
• Partner with the client to maintain up-to-date documentation, including SOPs, STPs,
and DTPs.
• Address questions from internal and external stakeholders on task status.
Skill/Experience/Education
Mandatory
• Bachelor's Degree with 1 - 3 years of full-time experience in contract management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage complex projects.
• Ability to handle large data sheets. Proficient in Google Sheets.
Desired/Added advantage
• Finance/quantitative background.
• Metrics design and data visualisation.
• Experience in working with global teams.
• Documentation management.
• Proficiency in Google Suite.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is $35,000-$52,500 annually, dependent on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
