Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a **Certified Medical Assistant** in **Vista, CA** ! This role is in person / onsite. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration:

**Type:** One-month temporary contract

**Schedule:** Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM

**Pay:** $20.00 to $24.00 an hour

**Specialty:** Pediatrics

Responsibilities of the** **Medical Assistant:

• Deliver high-quality patient care through face-to-face, telephone, and electronic contact for examination, treatment, monitoring, and preparation for diagnostic tests or procedures.

• Collect and document patient information, including vital signs, chief complaint, review of medications, allergies, health risk screen information, the status of extended care benefits, and other services.

• Assist physicians and nursing personnel with injections, EKGs, phlebotomy, and other patient care procedures as directed.

• Coordinate patient care as directed by physicians, company standards, and policies.

• Assist with tasks, phone calls, and messages; document all actions taken.

• Proper, concise, and complete EMR documentation and paper-based documentation for all assessments and procedures.

• Prepare and clean patient rooms and set up instruments and equipment according to protocol while maintaining infection control.

Qualifications for the** **Medical Assistant:

• Medical Assistant Certification

• High school graduate or GED equivalent

• 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience

• EPIC EMR experience preferred

• Bilingual in English and Spanish also preferred
