    Job Title: Facilities Mechanic

    Job Description

    Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various facilities equipment and machinery in a pharmaceutical facility. Troubleshoot a variety of mechanical systems including compressed air, vacuum pump systems, valves, and exhaust fans. Conduct equipment inspections and document all findings. Utilize the CMMS system for managing work orders.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and machinery.

    + Troubleshoot mechanical systems such as compressed air, vacuum pump systems, valves, and exhaust fans.

    + General facilities upkeep, general carpentry , electrical, HVAC, and plumbing

    + Conduct thorough equipment inspections and document findings accurately.

    + Utilize CMMS systems to manage and track work orders.

    Essential Skills

    + 4-6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in pharma/biotech.

    + Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

    + Experience with mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing equipment, particularly valves, pumps, and exhaust fans.

    + Proficiency in preventive maintenance procedures.

    + Familiarity with CMMS systems, pneumatics, and GMP.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

    + Capable of standing, walking, bending, squatting, and working in various positions for extended periods.

    + Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, chemicals, and machinery.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a biopharma manufacturing campus with office buildings. The environment involves exposure to noise, chemicals, and machinery typical of a manufacturing setting.

     

    Shift - 7am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $40.00/hr.
