Job Title: Lathe Operator

Job Description

As a Lathe Operator, you will be responsible for operating multiple CNC Hardinge Lathe machines according to work orders. You will also operate a Wire EDM machine for long-run production. This role requires you to fully set up the machine with the assistance of a technician when necessary. Additionally, you will deburr parts and inspect them using a variety of tools including micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, vision systems, and CMM. General maintenance of the machines will also be part of your duties.

Responsibilities

+ Operate multiple CNC Hardinge Lathe machines per work order.

+ Perform long-run production using Wire EDM machines.

+ Fully set up machines with technician assistance when needed.

+ Deburr parts and conduct quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, vision systems, and CMM.

+ Perform general maintenance on machines as required.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years of recent CNC Lathe experience.

+ Ability to read blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with Twin Spindle lathe machining is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
