    Job Title: Industrial Material Handler

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to transport materials within our facility, ensuring they support production processes efficiently. The role involves maintaining a clean and organized yard, performing routine inspections, and adhering to safety protocols.

    Responsibilities

    + Transport materials to designated areas within the facility.

    + Push materials through the facility to support production processes.

    + Maintain a clean and organized yard, ensuring materials are stored safely and efficiently.

    + Perform routine inspections and maintenance of forklifts and other equipment.

    + Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

    + Assist with inventory management and record-keeping as needed.

    + Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.

    + Kit parts using order sheets and operate a forklift to do so.

    + Input part numbers and IDs into the system.

    Essential Skills

    + General labor, loading, and unloading.

    + Material handling and kitting.

    + Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a daily basis.

    + Experience in inventory, shipping and receiving, cycle counts, and inventory control.

    + Proficiency in picking, WMS, SAP, and using a tape measure.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 5+ years of experience in warehouse and heavy industrial environments.

    + Experience in cycle counting and inventory management for order picking and kitting.

    Work Environment

     

    This role operates in a heavy industrial steel fabrication environment, which is non-climate controlled and involves working around various large machines and equipment.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Goose Creek, South Carolina.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50/hr.
