Project Specialist - Nuclear Projects

CTG is seeking to fill a Project Specialist – Nuclear Projects opening for our client in Richland, WA.
**Location:** Richland, WA
**Duration:** 12 months
Duties:
+ Manage small projects related to refueling outages, forced outages, and on-line maintenance.
+ Ensure project work is implemented safely, with quality, on schedule, and within budget.
+ Support all phases of project implementation including budget oversight, work package preparation, procurement, ALARA planning, safety, work prioritization, resource loading, and execution.
+ Resolve schedule delays and conflicts during project execution.
+ Track project costs and monitor performance against budget.
+ Interface regularly with internal stakeholders, engineers, vendors, and management to ensure progress and alignment.
+ Develop and manage contracts and vendor relationships.
+ Prepare and deliver project communications to stakeholders, including senior management.
+ Develop long-range strategic plans related to assigned projects.
+ Support Self-Assessment and Corrective Action Programs at the Columbia Generating Station.
+ Provide outage support, including involvement in the Outage Control Center (OCC).
Skills:
+ Strong organizational and planning skills for managing multiple priorities.
+ Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software tools.
+ Ability to develop and manage contracts and work with vendors.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
+ Understanding of safety and regulatory requirements in nuclear or technical environments.
Experience:
+ Experience managing or assisting with projects in technical or industrial environments.
+ Background in construction management or project oversight is preferred.
+ Experience supporting outage work in energy, nuclear, or related industries is a plus.
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field **OR**
+ Associate’s degree in related technical field and 2 years’ experience in a technical field **OR**
+ High School Diploma/GED and 4 years’ experience in a technical field
Desired Certifications (not required):
+ PMP Certification
+ Construction Management Certification
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $36.00/hour to $56.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
