Be a leader in developing community relationships to grow sales and the customer base.
+ Ensure that the store culture embodies Staples values and its commitment to the community
+ Develop high/wide/deep relationships with existing and new customers in a targeted geographical area utilizing technology, social media, industry associations, community and business sponsored events
+ Grow your customer base through Sales Force and in-store and in-community interactions to become their go-to print, branding, and marketing partner
+ Meet or exceed sales and margin targets by generating new customer opportunities, analyzing account strategies, and building sales, profits, margins of the existing account base
+ Partner with store leadership to promote total solutions for our Business customers
+ Coach and develop your team to ask open ended questions to deliver a total print and marketing solution
+ Develop and rely on your production/service supervisors to train the team and to deliver quality products
+ Be flexible to perform other duties as needed or assigned
Essential skills and experience:
+ 2+ years leading and coaching a team in a customer-centric, solutions-based environment
+ Attention to detail and keen eye for noticing quality issues throughout the production process
+ Experience overcoming objections; engaging, listening and speaking to customers; closing the sale
+ Strong communication and organizational skills
+ High School diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
+ Ability to lift/move materials in the 10-50 pound range, stand and walk continuously and visit local businesses

Preferred skills and experience:
+ Experience in selling to small businesses in a retail or service environment
+ Successful sales in the printing industry or other selling or service environment. Familiar with printing processes and equipment
