RESPONSIBILITIES
I. JOB SUMMARY:
• Provides leadership and senior level support in all areas of debt finance including planning, issuance and ongoing management and monitoring of tax-exempt and taxable debt transactions.
• Supports the investment area, including preparation of financial reporting for the QHS Non-Pension and Pension investment portfolios.
• Supports other treasury/finance areas as needed.
• Coaches and mentors treasury/accounting/finance staff in areas related to banking services and debt related planning needs.
• Provides leadership and senior level support related to cash management including monitoring and forecasting of all accounts and improvements for QHS overall cash management needs.

III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A. EDUCATION:
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or related field.
• Master's degree in business administration preferred.
• CPA licensure (inactive status acceptable) highly desirable
B. CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
• No certification and/or licensure requirement.
C. EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum three (3) years progressive experience in cash management, banking, or other related field performing accounting, budgeting, financial analysis and reporting in a corporate environment and/or comparable public accounting experience.
• Experience in a lead or supervisory role.
• Experience to demonstrate:
o Knowledge and applied experience in commercial cash management services, debt servicing and administrative support, and treasury functions.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Strong communication skills both oral and written with the ability to convey technical and data issues with internal stakeholders including peers and executive management.
o Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects/clients simultaneously while ensuring quality, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.
o Ability to lead and work collaboratively with a broad range of people to accomplish assignments and projects effectively and efficiently.
o Ability to coach and mentor financial analysts in the development of financial analyses supporting business development projects.
• Experience in tax-exempt debt financing, commercial bank facilities, and/or investment vehicles preferred.
