    Job Summary

    + Provides quality nursing care to neonates, including well, at-risk and high risk infant.

    + Works in collaboration with Director Pediatrics, unit manager, charge nurses, staff nursesand Neonatologist in planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care.

    + Examines and treats patients independently and in autonomous collaboration with other health careprofessionals.

    + Ensures proper illness and injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis,treatment, and recovery.

    Qualifications

    + Master's degree in nursing

    Experience

    + Two to three years as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner/Clinician in a Level III nursery.

    Licenses/Certifications

    + Currently licensed by State of Alabama, CRNP endorsed.

    + Certified by NAACOG as Neonatal Nurse Practitioner/ Clinician

    + Basic Life Support (BLS)

    + Neonatal Resuscitation Provider Program (NRP)
