    TE Connectivity in Berwyn, PA is looking for aSr. Project Managertodefine and create project schedules and ensure project tasks are executed per the schedule. Identify resource constraints and work with management for resolution of those constraints. Work with Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other functions across TE to ensure projects meet financial, schedule, and customer expectations. Manage one or more New Product Development projects following the LEAN PD process - a well-defined stage gate process that governs execution of new product development projects within TE, with a focus on launching new products on time and within budget. This includes regular presentations to the Business Unit's Project Approval Committee (PAC). Ensure the project is "staffed for success". Negotiate with functional managers and Project Approval Committee (PAC) to alleviate resource constraints as needed. Clearly communicate roles, expectations, and accountabilities to all team members on a regular basis ensuring that the team is operating according to the development process. Manage project scheduling and gap closure requirements as needed by holding team members accountable. Ensure project progress and deliverables are achieved across all business functions to ensure compliance with LEAN PD Stage Gate process. Report out project status to PAC following contract date. Proactively monitor project execution with specific emphasis on providing early warnings to detect, develop, and implement corrective action plans where required. Resolve project conflicts and establish escalation paths on all projects. May oversee and supervise a project team and subordinates in support of strategic business initiatives to drive growth and productivity in the organization. Telecommuting permitted.

     

    **Minimum Requirements** :Master's degree in Engineering Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering,or related technical field (or foreign equivalent), plus3 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing engineering-related position.

    **Special Requirements** : Requires 3 years of experience with the following:

    1. Project/Program Management support experience.

    2. Microsoft Project Gantt charts, project planning, and risk management.

    3. Working with internal and external customers in a related role.

    4. Business metric analysis experience, communication with senior management and external customers.

    5. Manage multiple cross-functional projects and programs and meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements.

    6. Work in Global Environment.

    7. Lean manufacturing principles and tool deployment including Tier board structure, standard work deployment, 5s, visual management, and KAIZEN events.
