We are seeking a dedicated Manager of Employee Relations and Benefits to join our team and be a part of our life-changing mission. This is a full-time position based out of the Marklund Hyde Center in Geneva. The hours for this position are Monday- Friday 8:00AM- 4:00PM. The salary range for this position is $70,000- $92,000 based on qualifications and experience.

You will make a difference at Marklund in the following ways:
+ Manage employee relations based on Human Resources policies, programs and practices.
+ Handle employee issues, accommodations, disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations.
+ Ensure Marklund job descriptions are legally compliant.
+ Review policies and practices to maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations while recommending best practices.
+ Update Marklund employee handbook.
+ Oversee the organization-wide orientation process.
+ Partner with Payroll and Finance department in any HR related processes.
+ Manage benefits programs and represent HR in the retirement plan audit.
+ Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in Human Resources and Employment Law.
+ Manage the HR Generalists, HR Coordinator and Front Desk Administrative Assistant.
+ Spearhead performance reviews and other HR projects as needed.
+ Other duties as assigned
Required Experience:
Human Resources Manager Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree desired
+ PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
+ Minimum of 4 years of experience desired
+ In-depth knowledge of and ability to apply employment law, regulations and best practices required
+ Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
+ Proficiency with HRIS systems, or ability to quickly learn
